Every now and then a band comes around that understands all of life's little bits and pieces. They somehow find a way of putting all that confusing madness into relentless, untouchable music. With over 13 years in tow King Clancy has evolved to be just such a band. All the members hail from the once green turned urban Scarborough, Ont. Spending way too much time trying to understand as much as they could with as few resources as possible. Not long after a fringe of members passed through an almost formed bands door, the core founders of King Clancy found the world at their doorstep in very little Time. They Moved to Los Angeles California where they signed a production deal, then soon after signed to DreamWorks Records where they would begin a recording career unparalleled by even the world’s most renowned artists. Followed by a story that would make you understand how they can continue to relentlessly create such authentic music. They watched the music industry collapse with themselves caught in the fray of a country gone mad. Instead of being discouraged the band fed off this as merely an education of sorts. Each evolved to become established producers in their own right. Having learned from the masters they have re-defined what Rock Music has to become. Song craft that will make the listener understand themselves better. Their music speaks to every part of the soul that gives life its order, chaos, and meaning.

After 3oo songs and 13 years you would have to ask yourself. “Why didn't any of this get out sooner?” “What does it sound like?”  If you listen you will hear all kinds of influence mostly from the grit and backbone of life's best and worst experiences. You will be entrapped in the circumstances that made this band endure the ultimate in self inflicted hardships that make musicians the magicians they are really meant to be. This isn't about looking pretty. This is about being human and using that unbelievable condition to inflict a pure undiscovered unity on the player and listener alike. What does that sound like?
